ABSTRACT
Pangolins (order Pholidota) are the only mammals covered by scales. We have recently sequenced and analyzed genomes of two critically endangered Asian pangolin species, namely Malayan ( Manis javanica ) Chinese pentadactyla ). These complete genome sequences will serve as reference for future research to address issues species conservation advance knowledge in mammalian biology evolution. To further facilitate global effort biology, we developed Pangolin Genome Database (PGD), a hub hosting genomic transcriptomic data annotations, with useful analysis tools community. Currently, PGD provides transcriptome data, gene functional information, expressed transcripts, pseudogenes, variations, organ-specific expression other annotations. anticipate that be an invaluable platform researchers who interested research. continue updating this including more annotation particularly from our consortium.
