ABSTRACT
The WHO declared antimicrobial resistance (AMR) a significant concern in 2014, sparking initiatives to ensure responsible antibiotic use. In human medicine, Antimicrobial Stewardship Programmes (ASPs) hospitals play pivotal role combating AMR. Although evidence supports the effectiveness of ASPs optimizing use, often lack resources becomes an excuse limit their dissemination and This paper provides comprehensive report on 6-year analysis ASP implemented healthcare region north-east Italy.
