ABSTRACT
We report 18 dust continuum detections ($\geq 3.3\sigma$) at $\sim88{\rm \mu m}$ and $158{\rm out of 49 ultraviolet(UV)-bright galaxies ($M_{\rm UV} < -21.3$ mag) $z>6.5$, observed by the Cycle-7 ALMA Large Program, REBELS its pilot programs. This has more than tripled number known $z>6.5$. Out these detections, 12 are reported for first time as part REBELS. In addition, 15 detected also show a [CII]$_{\rm 158{\rm m}}$ emission line, providing us with accurate redshifts. anticipate line from six targets (including three targets) where observations still ongoing. The sources in our sample tend to have redder UV spectral slope ones without detection. estimate that all an infrared (IR) luminosity ($L_{\rm IR}$) range $3-8 \times 10^{11} L_\odot$, except one $L_{\rm IR} = 1.5^{+0.8}_{-0.5} 10^{12}\,L_{\odot}$. Their fraction obscured star formation is significant $\gtrsim 50\%$. Some spatial offsets ($\sim 0.5-1.5''$) between rest-UV far-IR peaks. These separations appear increasing trend against indicator suggests spatially decoupled phases unobscured formation. offers best available statistical constraints on UV-bright, massive $z > 6.5$.
