ABSTRACT
Abstract Light and temperature are 2 major environmental factors that affect the growth development of plants during their life cycle. Plants have evolved complex mechanisms to adapt varying external environments. Here, we show JASMONATE ZIM-domain protein 3 (JAZ3), a jasmonic acid signaling component, acts as factor integrate light in regulating seedling morphogenesis. JAZ3 overexpression transgenic lines display short hypocotyls under red, far-red, blue warm (28 °C) conditions compared wild type Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana). We interacts with transcription PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTOR4 (PIF4). Interestingly, spontaneously undergoes liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) vitro vivo promotes LLPS formation PIF4. Moreover, transcriptomic analyses indicate regulates expression genes involved many biological processes, such response auxin, auxin-activated pathway, regulation growth, red light. Finally, inhibits transcriptional activation activity binding ability Collectively, our study reveals function molecular mechanism plant temperature.
