ABSTRACT
Agaricus bisporus (Lange) Imbach is the most widely cultivated mushroom in world. A. wet bubble disease one of severe diseases white button mushrooms and caused by fungal pathogen Hypomyces perniciosus. The causes a drastic reduction yield because malformation deterioration basidiomes. However, mechanism mushroom’s development after infection with H. perniciosus remains obscure. Therefore, to reveal perniciosus, interaction between host was investigated this study using histopathological, physiological, transcriptomic analyses. Results showed that irrespective growth stages basidiomes infected host’s malformed enlarged mycelia basidia indicated earlier more Analyzing physiological results tandem, we concluded mainly affecting metabolism level phytohormones (N 6 -isopentenyladenosine, cis-zeatin, N -[delta 2-isopentenyl]-adenine) fruiting bodies rather than toxins. Our findings revealed providing reference for developing realistic approaches control diseases. further clarified identified candidate genes resistance breeding. Additionally, our work provides valuable theoretical basis technical support studying other pathogenic fungi their hosts.
