ABSTRACT
A meta-analysis of anaerobic soil disinfestation (ASD) efficacy against Fusarium oxysporum and F. f. sp. lycopersici was conducted emphasizing effects environment organic amendment characteristics pot field studies on ASD C:N ratio temperature inoculum survival. In a study, two amendments, dry molasses-based or wheat bran-based, applied at 4 mg C/g soil, with 40:1, 30:1, 20:1, 10:1 ratios, were evaluated 15 to 25°C. This study followed by regimes 25°C 25 35°C ratios (20:1 40:1), 30:1 lower C rate (2 soil), an control. Soil >25°C more labile amendments increased suppression oxysporum/F. in the meta-analysis. studies, survival reduced for mixtures 20:1 compared bran-based but not At 35°C, all treatments suppressed relative controls. field, control, rates induced higher conditions mortality 2 rate. Although from 10 40:1 similarly suppressive oxysporum, temperatures effectiveness further work is warranted enhance <25°C.
