ABSTRACT
Interprofessional collaboration between anatomists and pathologists is important, yet poses unique workflow challenges. Therefore, this report details a successful example of case pulmonary adenocarcinoma metastasizing to Virchow node wherein collaborated in manner that was both streamlined effective. Essentially, gross pathology identified anatomy laboratory, an anatomist forwarded description these findings the director residents. Next, residents basic anatomical while asking for resident participation based upon professional interests. The interested then contacted anatomist, who, turn, walked through dissection facilities. resected pathological tissues provided with written histopathological assessment confirmed by seasoned pathologist. insights led robustness either party would not have been able complete on their own.
