ABSTRACT
Objective: Coronary artery disease is the major cause of mortality in our country with 30% morbidity risks. Although rupture plaque mediated by many effectors, little known about metalloproteases role and regulation. Our objective was to study plasmatic variations MMP-9and its inhibitor TIMP-1 patients coronary disease, also influence 1562 C/T polymorphism promoter region MMP9 gene these patients. Design method: effectuated a population 131 controls 218 required cardiology service Rabta hospital. Each person beneficiated clinic, radiologic exam biochemical analysis. MMP-9 level were determined ELISA technique. -1562 PCR/RFLP Results: The obtained results showed that significally more elevated In contrast, did not correlate disease. MMP-9/ ratio significatively than (7.07 vs 1.88; p = 0.003). This metalloprotease correlated positively CRP (r 0.15; 0.02). this study, associated severity Thus we couldn’t neglect effect on expression gene. Patients (CT+TT) genotypes had highly same genotype (409.98 ng/L 180.81 ng/L; 0.004). Conclusions: be explicated variation specific TIMP-1. fragile association between suggest other polymorphisms may intervene responsible aggravation
