We previously developed framework for health-related (HRQOL) in hypospadias demonstrated that psychological comorbidity, found up 40% patients, is often not adequately identified or addressed. At this time, we sought identify the critical time period intervention protection life. METHODS: conducted an IRB-approved semi-structured interview study using rigorous qualitative research methods. Eligible candidates were English speaking males their parents if they under 18 years, romantic partners older than 18. utilized ICD 10 codes potential participants video interviews (VB). Participants categorized by age: 5-10 years (pre-pubertal), 11-15 (pubertal), 16-20 (post-pubertal), 21 (adults), parents/partners. RESULTS: Eighteen out 79 contacted families participated, 32 conducted: 5 pre-pubertal, pubertal, 3 post-pubertal adult 13 parents, 1 partner.
