ABSTRACT
Randomized parallel group comparative trial with a 1-year follow-up period. To compare in population of patients chronic low back pain, the effectiveness functional restoration program (FRP), including intensive physical training and multidisciplinary approach, an outpatient active physiotherapy at follow-up.Controlled studies conducted United States Northern Europe showed benefit FRPs, especially on return to work. have compared these programs standard care. A previously reported study presented 6 months both physiotherapy, significantly greater reduction sick-leave days for restoration.A total 132 pain were randomized either FRP (68 patients) or individual therapy (64 patients). One patient did not complete FRP; 19 lost (4 15 treatment group). The number 2 years before was similar groups (180 ± 135.1 vs. 185 149.8 FRP, P = 0.847).In groups, follow-up, intensity flexibility, trunk muscle endurance, Dallas daily activities work leisure scores, improved baseline. lower group. Both are efficient reducing disability days. is more effective Further analysis required determine if this overweighs difference costs programs.
