ABSTRACT
Tourette syndrome (TS) and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are frequently seen in combination, though the cause of comorbidity is uncertain. Low birth weight a known risk factor for ADHD. The objective study was to assess association between pre- perinatal morbidity comorbid diagnosis ADHD children with TS.A nested case-control evaluated TS at subspecialty clinic performed. Cases were defined as ADHD; controls had without Exposure assessed using demographic information booklets completed by parents before diagnostic interview.Three hundred fifty-three included, 181 cases 172 controls. Children greater odds exposure low status, prematurity, breathing problems, maternal smoking compared only.
