ABSTRACT
The biological dose of nuclear workers engaged in emergency response tasks at Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Station was estimated the present study. As national core center for radiation medical preparedness Japan, National Institute Radiological Sciences (NIRS) received all individuals who were suspected being overexposed to acute radiation. In course health examinations NIRS, dosimetry performed by dicentric chromosome assay (DCA). Twelve examined from 21 March-1 July 2011. results indicated that exposure doses lower than 300 mGy, with mean value about 101 mGy. These DCA accordance those obtained physical based on personal dosimeter recording assessment. corroborate fact no syndrome observed among examined.
