ABSTRACT
To identify the prevalence, risk factors, and treatment outcomes of patients with chronic disabling occupational musculoskeletal disorders (CDOMD) who met criteria for fibromyalgia.This was a prospective prognostic study consecutive cohort CDOMD (n = 449) admitted treatment. Patients were assessed widespread pain fibromyalgia. The measures included demographic, injury-related information, psychosocial measures, 1-year work status follow-up.The fibromyalgia reported higher-level distress. Women 9.6 times less likely to return posttreatment and, those did, 4.3 retain work.Of this cohort, 23.2% found show greater distress significantly poorer rates retention postrehabilitation.
