ABSTRACT
This study aimed to evaluate and reexamine materials of the patients with cervical biopsy revealing intraepithelial neoplasia their cone biopsies no lesion.Twenty-five lesion among 202 who had undergone conization after colposcopically derived between 2005 2011 were included in this study. Ki67 P16 applied all slides. The blocks whose reevaluation results original slides positive completely sectioned presence any lesion, suspicious areas stained P16.Of 25 patients' punch biopsies, was detected 13 patients. false positivity first (52%) main reason for negative result biopsy. Punch other 12 confirmed lesions previously diagnosed. detailed examination specimens latter group showed 3 new low-grade neoplasia, which not been identified before.Discordance findings could from misdiagnosis biopsy, failure preparation whole material, technical difficulties conization. staining can be used such cases clarify diagnosis.
