ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate 125I-labeled anti-carbonic anhydrase IX monoclonal antibody (125I-MAb) as a novel single-photon emission computed tomography tracer for imaging carbonic in the mice bearing HT-29 tumors. Methods Anti-carbonic was labeled with iodine-125 by iodogen method. The radiochemical purity of 125I-MAb measured radio-thin-layer chromatography. in-vitro stability determined PBS (0.05 mol/l, pH 7.4) or new-born calf serum at 37°C, and analyzed A biodistribution study planar were carried out expression CA tumors immunohistochemistry. Results obtained radiolabeling efficiency 98%, showed high serum. Furthermore, specific tumor uptake tumors, 48 h post injection concentration radioactivity much decreased blocking group. An immunohistochemical analysis Conclusion preliminary results from potential an agent diagnosis encouraged further investigation.
