ABSTRACT
Regulatory T cells (Treg) can inhibit immune responses mediated by cells. The aim of this study was to evaluate the prevalence Treg in peripheral blood mononuclear from patients with pancreatic cancers relation their clinical outcomes.Among a total 100 ductal adenocarcinoma pancreas, 40 underwent pancreatectomy and 60 had unresectable disease. Their were evaluated determine proportion CD4CD25 (FoxP3) cells, as percentage CD4 flow cytometric analysis. The cancer significantly lower than that healthy volunteers (P = 0.048), who surgical resection levels those disease 0.040). Patients resected group higher survived longer 0.021). remained free at postoperative 12 months decreased compared period 0.009).A relative increase may be related immunosuppression tumor progression cancer. immunological monitoring useful predict prognosis for
