ABSTRACT
There has been an urgent need for effective and efficient upper limb rehabilitation method poststroke patients. We present a Micro-Sensor-based Upper Limb System The wearable motion capture units are attached to segments embedded in the fabric of garments. body segment orientation relative reference frame is computed by fusion sensory data, trajectory movement parameters obtained. Using micro-Sensor-based System, clinical Active Range Motion scale can be measured automatically; set novel quantitative measures, referred as motor feature indices, obtained evaluate quality movement. Experimental results show that proposed indices reflect real impairment status very well, providing objective measurements patient's functional recovery process.
