ABSTRACT
Abstract We sought to deepen our understanding of the relationship between pathological narcissism and eating disorders (ED) by examining specific facets that composed grandiose vulnerable while taking into account self-esteem, a well-known consistent risk factor for ED. Twenty-seven women diagnosed with anorexia nervosa (AN) 23 bulimia (BN) completed standardized measures narcissism, dysfunctional attitudes behaviors. Different patterns associations pathology arose AN BN diagnoses. Closer examination revealed hiding self, narcissistic facet, contributed significantly behaviors over above self-esteem AN. Hiding self should continue be explored in regard treatment
