ABSTRACT
To investigate the feasibility of a new endoscopic pyloromyotomy technique.Endoscopic through gastric submucosal tunnel was performed in 6 pigs. At greater curvature, 2 cm proximal to pylorus, we incised mucosa and dissected up pyloric ring. The muscular ring sectioned, then mucosal incision closed with metallic clips. pigs were euthanized necropsies performed.Section successful all Small perforations occurred pigs, there limited bleeding 1 pig. Necropsy histologic evaluation confirmed section. This technique is feasible, easy perform, maybe alternative pyloroplasty selected cases. Experimental comparative studies other techniques still must be performed.
