ABSTRACT
A prospective, one-group, pre-post test design was used to determine change in knowledge and attitudes of registered dietitians long-term care settings regarding the use nutrition process model international dietetics terminology. Sixty dietitian participants, employed by 4 US health services companies, completed a Web-based course module including pre- posttests. Following intervention, (p < .01, paired-samples t test) attitude scores tests) increased significantly. Educational interventions targeted practice setting can improve International Dietetics Nutrition Terminology as measured tests. Further research with larger sample size is needed.
