ABSTRACT
Introduction. Pancreatic tuberculosis is an extremely rare form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis. This condition can be challenging to diagnose due its rarity, nonspecific symptoms and radiological features that may mimic a neoplastic origin. Case report. A 46-year-old immunocompetent patient with no past history exposure presented spontaneously resolving jaundice over the month, accompanied by fever episodes general fatigue other associated digestive symptoms. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans revealed poorly defined, partially necrotic mass in pancreatic head heterogeneous hypodensity enhancement after contrast injection. Additionally, there were nodal hilar macro-nodal lesions appearances, as well peripancreatic lymphadenopathy. The was scheduled for endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) examination, which presence lesion areas necrosis posterosuperior aspect isthmus pancreas, perilesional coeliac lymphadenopathies centres.
