ABSTRACT
The effect of deformation in the scattering and reaction a $^{9}\mathrm{C}$ radioactive beam by protons $^{12}\mathrm{C}$ is investigated within relativistic impulse approximation modified Glauber model whose amplitude involved combined effects phase variation, higher momentum transfer components, Pauli blocking, finite range. Spherical deformed mean field densities are used. Using proton experiment as well interaction cross section data, neutron root square (rms) radii deformations extracted. It found that strongly affects polarization at medium large angles, where second third peaks reproduced density. inverted deformation. measured angular distribution $277--300$ MeV/u data $^{9}\mathrm{C}+^{12}\mathrm{C}$ 680 720 satisfactorily an extracted Woods-Saxon density with matter rms radius parameter order ${R}_{m}\ensuremath{\approx}2.33$ fm ${\ensuremath{\beta}}_{m}\ensuremath{\approx}0.36$.
