ABSTRACT
PC clusters running Linux, provide the computational power of supercomputers just a few years ago at fraction purchase price. The lack good administration and user level application management tools makes operation more difficult than it need be results in an increased cost. This paper describes ongoing effort Oak Ridge National Laboratory to develop simplify use computation clusters. two integrated this work include M3C (Managing Monitoring Multiple Clusters) C3 (Cluster Command Control) tool suite. provides Web-based graphical interface for cluster administration. It is designed as extendable framework that can with different underlying back-end tools. independent project commands effect on cluster. In serves example how into framework.
