ABSTRACT
Since 1994 the JET experiment has been operated with a divertor, currents up to 6MA. Disruptions are generally accompanied by vertical plasma displacements giving rise forces at torus. Vertical force swings 5MN were recorded vessel supports. The toroidally non-uniform, peaking factors 1.8. Global sideways of torus, about 5 mm, also in number disruptions. They interpreted as consequence large amplitude m=1, n=1 kink mode. led damage some components inside and outside vessel, such internal saddle coils, beryllium evaporator heads.
