ABSTRACT
This paper proposes and demonstrates experimentally the application of optical polarization-multiplexed radio-over-fiber wireless backhauling fully standard 3GPP carrier-aggregated multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) signals. The experimental work successful long-reach transmission LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) signals using 2×2 MIMO spatial diversity. suitability provision links is demonstrated over different E-UTRA frequency division duplex bands. performance electrical carrier aggregation evaluated in configurations comprising one, three five LTE-A component carriers 10 20 MHz bandwidth each. results demonstrate 25 km, 75 km an 100 single mode fiber to provide pervasive service a large number users.
