ABSTRACT
In this paper, we present the demonstration of a 10-W level picosecond Yb 3+ -doped master oscillator and power amplifier at 976 nm in all-fiber configuration. A linear-cavity fiber laser mode-locked by semiconductor-saturable-absorber-mirror was developed as seed with pulse width 10.9 ps operating repetition rate 34.1 MHz. The average amplified to 8.1 W two core-pumped pre-amplifiers cladding-pumped amplifiers. output measured be 15.6 its energy is 237.5 nJ, corresponding peak 15.2 kW. polarization extinction ratio beam quality (M xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2 ) 10-watt-level were 13 dB 1.2, respectively.
