ABSTRACT
A microfiber Bragg grating (MFBG) bonded using tapered cantilever was designed to improve ultrasonic sensitivity, and investigated experimental, theoretical, numerical methods. The signal amplified by the structure while influences of static strain evanescent field were eliminated cantilever. Compared with cantilevered fiber grating, sensitivity sensor presents an upward trend descent diameter as there are 331% 108% increment MFBGs 20 40 μm diameters, improvement is apparent when frequency high.
