A reduced-size dual-mode bandpass filter with capacitively loaded open-loop arms

A novel type of dual-mode microstrip bandpass filter using degenerate modes a square loop resonator with capacitively loaded open-loop arms is proposed. Such 0.75% bandwidth at the center frequency 1.603 GHz designed and fabricated to demonstrate design reduced-size filters. It shown that proposed has size reduction about 59% same frequency, as compared filters such patch, cross-slotted ring filter.
