ABSTRACT
TUBIN is a microsatellite mission tasked with the detection of high-temperature events from low-Earth orbit. Launched in June 2021, it employs sensor suite consisting two microbolometer focal plane arrays sensitive thermal infrared range electromagnetic spectrum as well complementary camera visible range. Thermal anomalies are detected within readings sensors and their localization assisted by camera. The were calibrated on-ground. However, to account for limitations ground calibration setup degradation alterations its nominal lifetime, response shall be validated In absence radiometric source aboard satellite, uniform well-documented sources evaluated in-orbit calibration. Advantages disadvantages different sites discussed this paper agreement between results outlined.
