ABSTRACT
An automated contact resistance measurement and recording system was designed constructed for evaluating the dry-circuit performance of electrical contacts. To assure conditions voltage across contacts limited to less than 30 millivolts regardless resistance. The signal used measure a dc biased 400 Hertz sinusoid. basic repetitive sequence operation consisted mechanically cycling switch, then measuring as falling within one an adjustable set five contiguous ranges.
