Moving Object Detection Algorithm Based on Variance Analysis

A novel object detection approach based on variance analysis is presented in this paper. Firstly, the of frame difference information analyzed and background model built. Then, used as threshold to separate image into two parts, moving region region. Thirdly, further by comparing it with background; uncovering are detected. Lastly, updated area for detecting next video frame. The experiment results show that proposed method practical fast speed, could detect clear motion objects meet need real time intelligent surveillance monitoring system.
