ABSTRACT
We report on trends in anaphylaxis admissions the Spanish hospital system during period 1998-2011. Data for were obtained from Information System Hospital Patients selected using codes International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM). Poisson regression models used to estimate incidence rate ratios. recorded a 1.89-fold increase hospitals study period, particularly patients aged 0-14 years (1.65- 3.22-fold until 2009 and 4.09- 12.59-fold 2011) food all age groups (2.78-fold 8.74-fold 2011). The is perceived as having increased recent years, especially caused by affecting pediatric population.
