ABSTRACT
The feeding trials were carried out with freshwater crayfish (Procambarus clarkii) to evaluate the three feed stimulants betaine (Bet), squid extract (SE) and meal (SM) upon fish (FM) diets or biofeed (BF) in which FM partially replaced by BF. Results showed had no significant effect on growth. By relative concentration of markers faeces diets, preference for each diet was estimated, best stimulant mixture Bet, SE SM. As BF increased, added mixture, weight gain an increasing trend, but decreased significantly 30% replacement. With substitution increasing, trypsin activities whereas too substitution. Less than replacement, there muscle proximate composition, intestine amylase serum haemocyanin contents, except drop lipid. results indicated that SM could perform well as a stimulant. And addition make about more 20% saving without any adverse effects.
