ABSTRACT
Abstract In South Korea, the average age of onset alcohol drinking is 13.3 years and half adolescents drink more than once a month; 8.45% Korean adolescent population become future high‐risk drinkers. Chronic abuse causes physical psychiatric health problems such as addiction, liver disease, stroke cognitive impairments. This study aimed to investigate effect on gene expression their function in hippocampus rats. After chronic administration male (control, n = 6; alcohol, 6) Sprague‐Dawley rats for 6 weeks, we analysed up‐ or down‐regulated genes using RNA‐sequencing technology. We found 83 1.5‐fold alcohol‐treated group. Among them, ( Dnai1 , Cfap206 Dnah1 ) associated with cilium movement were up‐regulated Mlf1, related cell cycle arrest, was also On other hand, Smad3 Plk5 involved negative regulation proliferation by administration. addition, levels oxidative stress Krt8 Car3 migration Vim changed These results pave path better understanding neuromolecular mechanisms mediated exposure pathology due abuse.
