ABSTRACT
Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance teachers' capabilities by sharing control over different parts of learning activities. This is especially true for complex activities, such as dynamic transitions where students move between individual and collaborative in un‐planned ways, the need arises. Yet, few initiatives have emerged considering how shared responsibility teachers AI support voices might be included to inform design decisions. The goal our article twofold. First, we describe a secondary analysis co‐design process comprising six methods understand conceptualise with an co‐orchestration tool, called Pair‐Up . We worked 76 middle school math teachers, each taking part one three methods, create tool that supports combinations using two AI‐based tutoring systems. leveraged qualitative content examine views about , high‐level insights human‐AI interaction, including control, trust, responsibility, efficiency, accuracy. Secondly, use results example showcasing human‐centred analytics applied technologies share reflections technology designers regarding fruitful elicit teacher feedback ideas. Our findings illustrate novel facilitate highlight considerations similar Practitioner notes What already known this topic: Intelligence help classroom having unplanned ways.
