ABSTRACT
In recent years, phthalocyanines (Pcs) have been widely used as photosensitizer in photodynamic therapy applications. Because of their strong absorptions the near-infrared region (640-700 nm). The integration phthalocyanine derivatives to a nanoparticle is expected be efficient way improve activity on targeted tissue. It known that integrated molecules not only show better accumulation tumor tissue but also reduce toxicity healthy tissues. this study, ZnPc molecule was synthesized and TiO2 nanoparticle, investigate potential PDT its cytotoxicity. Additionally, ZnPc-TiO2 were labeled with 131 I it aimed put forth nuclear imaging/therapy potentials ZnPc/ZnPc-TiO2 by determining vitro uptakes mouse mammary carcinoma (EMT6), human cervical adenocarcinoma (HeLa). result our observed radiolabeling yields quite high. uptake studies shown I-ZnPc-TiO2 could agent for imaging/treatment breast cancers. According results, might treatment tumor. theranostic agents.
