ABSTRACT
Scylla paramamosain is one of the most common and serious food allergens in Asia. Therefore, research on its prevalence, accurate diagnosis, IgE-binding pattern crucial. To identify IgE epitopes myosinogen S. using phage peptide library. The prevalence allergy to crabs (AC) sensitization was analysed a questionnaire serological assay. BAT performed by flow cytometry, diagnostic performance evaluated relation purified from crab myosinogen. were identified display patients with AC. Sequence- structure-based bioinformatics analyses allergenic epitopes.Crab cause allergies this study. Subjects AC (n = 30) clear clinical symptoms immunoblotting BAT. All triggered basophil activation; surface expression CD63 CD203c higher allergic AK FLN c than SCP TIM. In addition six conformational SCP, linear eight identified. Five three TIM, nine ten also identified, sequence VH(I/T) L appeared both TIM c. The number showed consistency value BAT.BAT can be used for diagnosis Identification particular motifs could valuable tool prevention, treatment allergies.
