ABSTRACT
To assess the clinical performance and patient acceptance of HemaSpot™ blood collection devices as an alternative method.Adult men women with any type diabetes, routinely carrying out self-monitoring glucose were recruited (n = 128). Participants provided a venous sample prepared two HemaSpot dried spots, one at clinics home. HbA1c analysis was by Tosoh G8 high-performance liquid chromatography. also completed questionnaire.Strong linear relationships been levels in spots observed model fitted to data.
