ABSTRACT
Abstract Human amniotic epithelial stem cells (hAESCs) are regarded as potential alternatives to keratinocytes (KCs) used for skin wound healing. Light is an alternative approach inducing cell differentiation. Opsins (OPNs), a family of light‐sensitive, G protein‐coupled receptors, play multitude light‐dependent and light‐independent functions in extraocular tissues. However, it remains unclear whether the light sensitivity function OPNs involved light‐induced differentiation hAESCs KCs. Herein, we determine role into KCs through molecular biology approaches vitro. It shown that mRNA expression OPN3 membrane was higher than other four primary by RT‐qPCR analysis. Changes gene had significant impact on proliferation, stemness capability hAESCs. Furthermore, found upregulation OPN3, KRT5 KRT14 with treated at 3 × 33 J/cm 2 irradiation from blue‐light LED. Taken together, these results suggest acts positive regulator This study provides novel insight photosensitive associated photobiomodulation(PBM)‐induced cells.
