ABSTRACT
Abstract The paper investigated the effects of different amounts (0%, 3%, 6%, 9%) in situ multilayer graphene/MgAl 2 O 4 composite powders on slag resistance, thermal shock and oxidation resistance low‐carbon MgO‐C refractories. Comparing with commercial MgAl , has higher lattice strain crystal, which can trap more Mn Fe ions, resulting better resistance. decarbonation layer specimen 3% is 9.71 mm, lower than not only other contents but also containing carbon black/MgAl powders. Moreover, residual strength ratio C/MA‐3 was 47.47%, 28.5% 8.08% specimens no additive powders, respectively. Both improving properties are related unique nano structure, graphene formed between grains, added former due to energy consumed by multi‐deflection cracks inside And latter activation effective protection .
