ABSTRACT
Pruritus is among the most common complaints in field of dermatology. It also a disturbing symptom many systemic disorders. Chronic pruritus (CP) refers to cases which last longer than 6 weeks. We conducted prospective analysis patients with generalized without primary skin lesions. All underwent evaluations and then were followed from 12 18 months for further evaluations. Of 5,127 referred our dermatology clinic, 49 lesions evaluated. Most (44%) age group 40–60 years female (58%). The duration was 37.04 ± 30.4 Fifty percent had cause pruritus. underlying diseases thyroid disorders (16.67%), diabetes mellitus (12.5%), malignancy (8.33%).
