ABSTRACT
Over the past three decades, prevalence rate of overweight and obesity has increased in survivors with congenital heart disease, little is known about body composition its association clinical characteristics lifestyle factors.To evaluate excess total-body adiposity central and, to describe associated factors.Cross-sectional study children adolescents who underwent procedure treat from January July 2017. Sociodemographic characteristics, factors (dietary intake, physical activity, sedentary behavior) were assessed. Adiposity was assessed using air-displacement plethysmography waist circumference. Factors analyzed logistic regression models.Of 232 patients, 22.4% identified 24.6% adiposity. Significant positively intake added sugar trans fatty acids, adjusted for confounding factors. Similarly, adiposity: behavior, family history obesity.Lifestyle Assessment healthy-lifestyle counseling into outpatient care may be key point prevent disease.
