ABSTRACT
Abstract It is well known that patients with Behçet's disease (BD) have an activated immune system, probably mediated by soluble factors in the circulation. The purpose of our study was to examine roles plasma interleukin‐2 (IL‐2) and receptor (sIL‐2R) pathogenesis BD. Thirty‐two BD diagnosed according Criteria International Study Group for Disease 20 age‐matched healthy persons were included study. levels cytokines measured ELISA. Plasma IL‐2 sIL‐2R increased over controls, but differences not statistically significant. active significantly higher than either inactive (p<0.001) or control group (p<0.05). Our results suggest level seems be related activity.
