For the first time a method for culturing human hair follicle cells is described. The bovine eye lens capsule, basement membrane-like structure, used as substrate cultures. In culture medium supplemented with hydrocortisone and insulin about 70% of original follicles will form growing colonies diploid keratinocytes.
