L. CASANOVAS, M. DE SIMÓN, M.D. FERRER, J. ARQUÉS AND G. MONZÓN. 1995. The faecal bacterial flora of pigeons, which may be the source infectious diseases in man, was studied city Barcelona. Four hundred cloacal specimens were examined for Campylobacter jejuni, Camp. coli, Salmonella spp., Yersinia spp. and Listeria over a 12 month period. jejuni most frequently isolated micro‐organism, found 105 pigeons (26.2%), with greater incidence districts high density without seasonal variation. from six (1.5%) intermedia only one pigeon.
