ABSTRACT
The shortened analogue of insulin, des‐(B26 B30)‐pentapeptide has been characterized by two‐dimensional 1H NMR. resonance assignments and the secondary structure in water solution are discussed. results indicate that is very similar to reported for crystalline state. A high flexibility both B chains observed. Of two conformations seen 2‐Zn insulin crystals indicated as molecules 1 2 (Chinese nomenclature), more molecule 1.
