ABSTRACT
Summary Injections of glucagon in dairy cows resulted a rapid and marked increase serum insulin also plasma glucose. Glucagon injection appears to be simple useful method for testing secretion glucose release. There was somewhat reduced response 2 weeks after calving normal cows. Cows given high intensity feeding before showed higher levels the test 3 days post partum signs sensitivity action. with abomasal displacement impaired tolerance heterogeneity responses indicating resistance Type (non‐insulin‐dependent) diabetes mellitus.
