Experimental investigation of needles, syringes and techniques for intravitreal injections

To assess the techniques and materials used in intravitreal injections.Descriptive study realized at Vision Institute of Federal University São Paulo, Brazil.Different brands needles syringes, as well enucleated porcine eyeballs.The ultra-structures commonly were analysed by scanning electron microscope, they compared using different criteria, such irregularities debris from lubrication process.
