To assess the diagnosis of children with coexisting pelvi-ureteric junction (PUJ) and vesico-ureteric (VUJ) obstruction, management such patients, as having these two anomalies in same ureter creates serious diagnostic difficulties, but any delay might cause a deterioration renal function affect success surgery to correct either anomaly. We assessed difficulties approach 14 patients coexistent PUJ VUJ who were treated surgically our clinic between 1994 2005; we also review related published reports English.Surgery was used all over 11-year period; only five had an accurate before surgery. Six diagnosed uroradiological techniques immediately after pyeloplasty; three on investigating associated anomaly later. In obstruction there are problems; prevent due require early treatment. For diagnosis, coexistence should be considered.
