ABSTRACT
To examine the genital tract flora in women with preterm prelabour rupture of membranes and to determine relationship these microorganisms those found fetal blood amniotic fluid.Prospective study 97 patients membranes.Maternal-fetal medicine centre.High vaginal endocervical swabs were taken for routine culture aerobic anaerobic bacteria Ureaplasma urealyticum Mycoplasma hominis. Cordocentesis amniocentesis performed fluid cultured bacteria. Amniotic was also spp. The sensitivities specificities colonisation prediction infection calculated.Positive cultures organisms predicted 40% positive 53% false rates 24% 25%, respectively. sensitivity spp 85% 35%, respectively.In lower provide poor intrauterine infection.
